International Network for Energy Efficiency and Innovative Building Services Education

The construction of an energy-efficient building is a holistic process in which many aspects have to be considered, from planning to construction and operation of the building. By using innovative solutions and by linking energy efficiency audits, LCCO, BIM and SCD (Supply Chain Design), energy consumption can be very low.

With three scientific partners (BOKU Vienna, FH Kufstein, 4ward Energy Research GmbH) and five complementary network partners, as well as international experts from the construction industry, the INE qualification network formed a closed value chain of qualification and knowledge transfer measures in the innovative building optimization sector and smart city environment.

INE strengthened the methodological knowledge regarding the identification and implementation of energy efficiency measures and conveyed a broad spectrum of knowledge regarding BIM-based life cycle cost optimization.
